Dr Thalis Zis was a member of our group between 2012 and 2015. His research focused on the identification of the environmental impact of container ports and on ways to reduce the emissions associated with port and maritime operations. Over the course of his studies he recieved a scholarship from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) and the Worshipful Company of Paviors.

Thalis obtained a Dipl. Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and an MSc in Transport from Imperial College London.

Thalis is currently a Senior Researcher with the School of Management at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), and a Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College Business School.
