Elias Nassif

Biography

Elias’s PhD research addresses the safety of autonomous driving systems: safety by design, scenario-based testing, in-use monitoring and regulatory compliance. He is co-supervised by Prof Panagiotis Angeloudis, Prof Washington Ochieng and Prof Mohammed Quddus.

Alongside his research, Elias is a Safety Data Manager at Oxa, where he develops metrics and methods for assessing autonomous vehicle safety. He previously managed the AI practice at Capita.

Elias holds a Master’s degree in Transport from Imperial College London and UCL (joint MSc) and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
