Biography

Leandro combines multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication to coordinate autonomous vehicles in urban environments, with particular attention to safety and operational efficiency. He is a Research Associate in the lab, where he began his PhD in 2020.

Leandro holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and an MSc in Industrial Engineering, both from Universidad de Concepción. Before his PhD, he worked as a management consultant for four years, developing decision support systems for logistics, healthcare and energy.
